Identify the question(s) or inquiry that guided your sustained investigation.
Response: My work revolves around the question; "How are our lives connected to the buildings we call 'home'?" The home in context doesn't just have to be the place we live in. It can also be places that had a big part in our lives that affected us as a person. Although living things move around and change with time, buildings always stay the same way they had when they were a space where our daily lives used to take place. In my work I investigate questions such as "In what ways does the image of the space help us understand the emotions that have been experienced in that area?".
Describe how your sustained investigation shows evidence of practice, experimentation, and revision guided by your question(s) or inquiry.
Response: My SI progresses from visualizing examples of these special places that I came across from other people's lives whether it's one specific person's or a common group's (1,2,4,6) to examples from my own life and experience (8,10,12,14). I experimented in using different color schemes in each piece to externalize the different emotions each space holds. I used bright colors to symbolize strong meanings, soft colors to visualize a cozy environment and monochromatic colors to visualize skepticism that an atmosphere holds. I revised pieces by changing the way I planned to execute the Idea (6,12,14).
